A rack at the centre of the upgrade
The Rockingham mobile office needed a place for its network and security equipment. The documented work introduced a dedicated 12RU rack, replacing the crowded arrangement shown in the before photograph. The completed image records the new UniFi equipment and organised patch cabling.
5G connectivity and U7 wireless
The equipment record identifies a UniFi 5G modem, a Dream Machine Special Edition and a U7 Long-Range access point. These served the office and surrounding area. The project record does not give measured coverage or speed results, so this case study focuses on the installed equipment and layout.
Two camera formats in the installation
The camera installation included a G6 PTZ and a G6 180. These are different camera formats, so the equipment list is useful when discussing a similar site: the assessment needs to consider the view required at each location, together with the recording and network arrangement.
Planning a similar office installation
